Training Video Production
After completing an ergonomic workstation fit-out for Christchurch International Airport (CIAL), Ergostyle needed a simple way to help staff correctly set up and use the equipment day to day.
Ergonomic equipment only really works when people know how to adjust it properly. After completing a workplace fit-out for Christchurch International Airport (CIAL), Ergostyle needed a clear training video staff could use to correctly set up their desks and equipment.
The aim was not to create a big brand film. It was to make the setup process feel simple and easy to follow, covering desk height, chair position, monitor placement and wrist support so staff could reduce strain and work comfortably from day one.
The Equipment
One button, perfectly positioned. Staff set their ideal desk height using preset memory positions, no guessing, no adjustment each morning. The desk moves exactly where it needs to be.
The Setup
From wrist rests to monitor height, the video steps through every element of the workstation and explains why each one matters for proper posture, reduced strain and productivity throughout the day.
We filmed the video at Ergostyle's Christchurch showroom, using a staged workstation environment that closely matched how the equipment would be used day to day.
The shoot was built around clarity. We worked with producer and actor Clare Mackey to demonstrate the key setup steps in a way that felt natural on camera and easy for staff to repeat at their own desk.
Location
Filmed inside the Christchurch showroom using real workstation furniture and accessories.
Approach
Simple demonstrations, clean framing and enough detail to make each adjustment easy to understand.
Focus
Desk height, chair position, monitor placement, wrist support and posture: the essential elements for a comfortable and productive workday.
This project did not need a large content package. It needed one focused video that could do the job properly.
A practical video resource Ergostyle could hand over to their client for staff training, onboarding and internal reference.
The final video gave Ergostyle's client a consistent way to explain the workstation setup without relying on repeated in-person demonstrations or long written instructions. It also gave Ergostyle a simple example of how they support clients beyond supplying furniture, helping the equipment get used properly after installation.
